Please read our contra-Indications to Juice Fasting before booking your retreat if you are choosing The Juice Fasting Detox Programme. You must inform The Raw Retreat of any pre-existing medical conditions or contra-indications at the time of booking. You must also disclose all pre-existing medical conditions and contra-indications on the confidential health questionnaire which will be sent to you within 24 hours of booking your retreat. The booking application form / health questionnaire must be returned within 7 days from receipt.

Please advise us if you think you may be pregnant during your stay.

If you are on any form of medication or if you have a medical condition, you should seek advice from your doctor as to whether a stay at The Raw Retreat is suitable. We recommend you ask your doctor to view our web site before booking.

With all forms of exercise it is advisable to consult a doctor prior to starting.

You are fully responsible for your own health during your stay with us including participation in any exercise, yoga classes or treatments.

Alcohol, smoking and the use of recreational drugs is not permitted at The Raw Retreat and guests would be asked to leave and forfeit their stay with no refund.

Guests are free to come and go as they please at the retreat. On Life-Changing Retreats there are activities, lessons, treatments, therapies, workshops and consultations planned during the day. Guests who leave The Raw Retreat during their stay will forfeit these activities.

We are not qualified to deal with any mental illness or severe depression. Please contact us prior to booking if you suffer from any mental health issues.

It is the responsibility of the guest to advise us of any changes to their health or ability to exercise during their stay, especially prior to a yoga lesson or other form of exercise.
​
The yoga teacher can accept no liability for personal injury related to participation in a lesson if: your doctor has on health grounds advised you against such exercise or you fail to observe instructions on safety or technique.
​
Wood-burning stoves, where provided, are supplementary to electric radiator or convector heating, which we are happy to light on chilly evenings.

Should you leave the retreat early for any reason no refund will be provided.

The Raw Retreat is located in rural Cornwall. Whilst free WiFi is provided, we can never guarantee this service.

Electric vehicle chargers. There are no electric charging points at The Raw Retreat. Charging a vehicle using a 13 amp plug with or without an extension lead from within the accommodation is strictly prohibited due to insurance, public liability, fire risk and suitability of electrical installations.
